WHAT WE DO
This unique, hands-on program prepares students for careers as entry-level technicians in the thriving biotechnology and life sciences fields. Over the course of this ten-month program, students master the cutting-edge technical skills required to work as entry-level lab technicians.
WHO CAN APPLY
Young adults with high school diploma (or equivalent), ages 18 - 30. No science or math experience required.
PROGRAM FORMAT
Seven months of hands-on training in a state-of-the-art teaching laboratory, followed by a paid, three-month internship at a biotech company or research institute in Boston, Cambridge or Massachusetts’ North Shore.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES
Our alumni have been hired into full-time positions at companies such as Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Cell Signaling Technology, Synlogic Therapeutics, UMass Medical School, Sherlock Biosciences, and Bluefin Biomedicine.
