Follow a life science strand from Kindergarten through grade 8 to see how understanding builds about organisms. Using hands-on explorations of the sanctuary, in-class activities and lessons for students, and research-based science education pedagogy from UC Berkeley’s BEETLES project, participants will discover how to engage students with local plants and animals. Each class will also include practical assignments where you apply skills.
