Advancing Science Research Teaching (ASRT) is an educational outreach program that aims to increase access, capacity & quality of programs, courses, and clubs clubs that provide science research opportunities for high school students.
The program is designed to equip high school teachers with the tools activities to increase science research opportunities for their students. The program can be customized to help teachers that provide these research opportunities within a traditional STEM classroom setting and/or helping those with small, growing dedicated research programs/clubs.
This program is being offered for free!
Whether you run an established science research program/club or incorporate science research project opportunities into your science curriculum, you are eligible to apply for the summer session. Selection will be based on your:
· Interest in growing your program;
· Your readiness & capacity to deepen your program; and
· Your administration’s support for creating science research/STEM opportunities for HS students.
Questions? You can find FAQs at www.ASRTprogram.com or contact email@example.com. This will be held the week of August 30th somewhere in the greater Boston area or southeastern MA, TBD based on COVID protocols.
If is of interest to you and/or your colleagues, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can accommodate you. If you are interested, but the week of the 30th doesn’t work, please let us know as there may be some flexibility in dates. We must know of your interest by March 1, ideally before. We have the opportunity to refine the content to meet specific interests/needs, so we can plan together to ensure it optimizes impact for your program.
